Stakeholder Workshop: New ways of using sugar beet pulp!

Dienstag, 21. Mai 2019

The nova-Institute invites you to take part in a stakeholder workshop, consisting of two sessions, on valuable products from sugar beet pulp, a side-stream of the sugar industry. The workshop is held by ‘Wageningen University & Research’ and ‘Orineo’, one of the leading experts in terms of sugar beet pulp processing in Europe.

The objective of the PULP2VALUE project is to refine sugar beet pulp, which is currently only used as low-value feed and/or green gas, and to extract valuable products from this side-stream for detergents, personal care, oil and gas, paints and coatings as well as composites. After four years of intensive research, our team has now achieved its first commercial successes, which we would like to present to you. Even if the workshop is split into two thematically different sessions, you can participate in both or only one of the sessions. Both workshop sessions are free of charge!
